The YWWAV program creates a space where Black girls and femmes are free to experience childhood, express themselves, and celebrate each other. Our staff provides support and education that empowers program participants to make decisions about their own bodies and lives. At YWWAV Black girls and femmes can dream, learn, plan, and experience joy in an environment where their voices are centered. YWWAV disrupts cycles of criminalization by empowering Black girls and femmes to be their full, authentic selves in a world that refuses to see their full humanity.
